We have an exclusive agreement with a family run sporting hotel of international standard. Appealing to  hunters who are looking for the ultimate Scottish hunting experience the hotel offers accommodation tailored to the needs of hunters and their companions - and not least first class hunting in the nearby vicinity of the hotel.

The host’s family have been organising hunting in Scotland or a demanding overseas clientele for more than 40 years.

Throughout this period they have always had a burning passion for hunting, and it has been a continual source of frustration that all the hotels available did not really have a deep understanding of hunting and hunters, which always seemed to stand in the way of the families guests enjoying a total hunting experience.

When the family got the chance of running a hotel in 2007, they at once saw it was their chance to create a “Country Sports Hotel” that would live up to their ideas on how the prefect setting for a Scottish hunting tour should be.

The hunting

The family, that runs the hotel, has access to more than 40,000 ha. of professionally managed hunting within a 35 mins drive from the hotel. The is a wealth of varied hunting available; woodcock and rough shooting near the hotel itself, while mixed walked up small game shooting that can include duck and goose shooting is available in a number of other venues. There is grouse shooting over pointers and setters, as well as world class traditional driven shoots for grouse. Hunting for white mountain hares, driven hunts for pheasant and partridge, as well as pigeon shooting and roe buck can of course also be arranged.
